Multifactorial : Muscle cramps are sometimes indicative of a underlying process such as electrolyte or thyroid derangement. Recently having received a triple bypass you may have been started on medications who's side effect are cramps. Please discuss this in detail with your physician. Physical therapy, hydration and medications such as Valium may be of use. Cyclobenzaprine is containdicated in recent bypass.
