A member asked:

Will my acl and meniscus surgery give trouble in my old age?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Orthopedic surgeon: Your orthopedic surgeon who knows what condition your knee is in and what type of procedure is planned, is best qualified to answer this question. I do feel that you're more apt to avoid future knee arthritis if your meniscus is repaired rather than partially removed. Again, your orthopedic surgeon is the person to advise you best.
