About an hour: While the surgery can take 1-11/2hrs recovery is much longer typically it can take 6-12 months of rehab to get back to regular sport activities.

6-12 mos: Although many sources suggest a full recovery to sports in 6 mos, it may be 6-12 months before you can return to full physical activities.
