A member asked:

I have had extreme ovarian pain lately, coupled with lower back pain, pain radiating into my legs, diarrhoea and feeling bloated. when should i seek medical care?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"Extreme" sounds bad: A woman with new "extreme" pain should call her primary doctor or Ob-Gyn doctor right away. Possible causes include infection, obstruction, twisted ovary, cyst or tumor problem, pregnancy problem, etc. If she has no personal doctor, she has to go where she will be examined. Usually, that would be an Emergency Room. Can call 911 (in US) for an ambulance if there is no safe way to get to an ER.
