See your ob-gyne : Risk of pregnancy with IUD is about 1/1000 but increased if the IUD is dislodged. Removal of the IUD decreases the likelihood of infection and other complications during the pregnancy. Also, there is a higher risk of an ectopic pregnancy if the IUD is still present, and an ultrasound can locate the IUD and location of the pregnancy. Make an urgent appointment with you doctor.
