I had my mirena removed. had my first normal period. took a few pregnancy tests and they came back positive. that same week i spotted. got blood work done and took more pregnancy tests, now they are all coming back negative. am i pregnant or not?

Pregnant ? : If the tests were positive, you may have experienced an early miscarriage, which is not uncommon. Ask your gyn physician for a pelvic ultrasound and a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.

Agree with Dr. B: It is likely that you had spontaneous loss of an early pregnancy, which is not uncommon. About 25% of early pregnancies are lost, mostly due to chromosomal defects in the embryo. Usually the only manifestation is a slightly heavy, delayed period. Wish you good health!
