A member asked:

My doctor told me to use two puffs each nostril twice a day of flonase for pressure on cheekbones due to allergies. is it too much?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: That is the recommended dose for symptomatic adults. When you get relief of your symptoms, which may take up to a week, you might be able to decrease the dose to 1 puff twice a day more as a maintenance dose. Sometimes, if you nose is really congested, the second spray just drips out, so it might be more effective to separate the 2 puffs buy at least 5 minutes.
