Prevention: Allergy treatment should be based on environmental avoidance, preventive medication & as-needed medications. Start with HEPA air purifier for bedroom, mattress & pillow allergy proof encasements, frequent damp dusting. Add routine nasal steroid daily with as-needed antihistamines. If persistent pressure and/or yellow or green mucous then consider a sinus infection & obtain a sinus xrays.
