I have barretts. the length has increased from 1cm to 4 as i wasnt taking a ppi. no dysplasia. my gp has prescribed zantac as she doesnt like ppis long term. whats your opinion?

Reasonable thought: Zantac was the therapy for Barets prior to PPI developement. For ulcer improvement the benefit of PPI is they heal quicker. Zantac an H2 has shown to bed helpful for Barrett"S . Your GP is offering a proven therapy and given you will be on for awhile likely safer.
