Lpr causing swallowing problems. im on ppi with zantac & gaviscon. throat feels sore & some foods seems longer to go down. any further advice please?

Different diagnosis?: Although LPR or GERD does not always respond to medication treatment ( surgery may be needed for some), it does not usually cause food to get stuck (in rare cases, prolonged reflux may need to stricture from scarring). I suspect you may be suffering from Eosinophilic esophagitis which may improve with certain dietary avoidance. Consult a GI specialist to get an evaluation.
