UTI treatment: The various UTI bacteria are often resistant to some antibiotics, and it's often a guessing game to pick the best antibiotic for any particular infection. Probably you need a different one, from an entirely different antibiotic class. The best approach is urine culture with testing to determine which antibiotics will work, but needs clinic visit and more expensive. Discuss w/ your doctor.
