Recheck with doctor: Your symptoms should have cleared entirely by now, usually within 3-4 days. Some bacteria that cause UTI are resistant to some antibiotics and you might need a different one, and probably a urine culture to learn the exact cause and which antibiotics will work best. Also, depending on risk, STDs like gonorrhea or chlamydia can mimic UTI. Contact the doctor who treated you. Good luck!
