Can i trust my oraquick results 8 months after high risk exposure? had chlamydia during the risk, and then was treated shortly after, and negative for other stds. ever since i was treated i have been clean and with one partner.

HIV test: The Oraquick oral fluids test is very good but not perfect; 3 months or more after exposure, it detects 95-98% of HIV infections. Almost certainly you do not have HIV, but for a 100% conclusive result, have a lab based blood test, either 3rd or 4th generation. (Most labs do 4th gen tests routinely). Also have repeat chlamydia/gonorrhea testing and syphilis blood test if these not yet done.
