Other explanations..: Depending on the preceding History, if there was trauma- like hitting one's hand on something; in which case ecchymosis might be the the answer. However, there are several other explanations for the observed 'blotches' but stretching it to sarcoma without professional evaluation and possible biopsy could be misleading. In the absence of the dermatologist, One can see the PCP and go from there.
