Fungus: Fungal infections are often difficult to diagnose. If you have a localized patch you could ask your pharmacist for an antifungal ointment. However some fungal infections involve large areas of the back (tinea versicolor) and require extensive treatment. A dermatologist is best qualified to diagnose and treat you for skin lesions.
