I have been taking 1mg clonazepam in the morning and 1mg in the evening for anxiety. the morning dose feels like too much initially, but tapers off too quickly. is it safe to take .5mg in the am and then .5mg in the early afternoon?

Prescribing MD: You must check with your prescribing physician before changing his/her instructions, but I feel you could do ok on that schedule, However I wouldn't recommend taking the third dose for at least 8 hours after the second dose. Again, get permission from your MD.

I have been on 1mg of clonazepam for 3 months. I take atenolol also for anxiety tachycardia 75mg daily. I've been tapering the clonazepam to now 0.75mg but I have noticed my heart rate 55-60 to the point where I know only take 25mg of atenolol. Why?
