Flu like ???: Flu generally hits fast & dramatically. High fever is the usual dramatic start. Off & on fever & "flu like" symptoms is likely something else. Antiviral flu meds are seldom helpful if started after 48-72 hrs. The mainstay of therapy is supportive for fluid balance & nutrition. Be vigilant for signs of any complications that may emerge.
