Not true: If you have real flu is better to take an antiviral medication since this disease could have serious complications even death. If you have other less serious kind of viral infection with flu-like symptoms is better to take care of the fever with anti febrile medications otherwise you will feel more achy and could lead to dehydration. So take care of the fever and drink plenty of fluids.
