Why do i have this sore in back of my head, had it for a long time before and now its come back, i dont remember hitting the back of my head for any reason, wondered if i should see a doctor about it, im travelling for a wk so id have to wait till th?

Open sore: Any prolonged non-healing or recurrent open sore of the skin needs to be professionally evaluated. Skin cancer is a common cause of this sort of problem. You should be seen ASAP if it is highly painful, if there is spreading redness or tenderness around it, or if you have fever. Otherwise, it should be safe to wait a week.
