Closed head injuries are common and usually superficial. A localized scalp hematoma ("goose egg") is very frequent and does not require medical care. Progressive headaches, nausea and vomiting, blurred or double vision, dizziness, and imbalance could require seeing your doctor. If your fall was sudden and unexplained, you would need help.
