Tinnitus: Yes this sounds like a degree of tinnitus. Given the transient nature a common reason would be closure in your eustacian tube.

Hello.I have very mild tinitus. Its not much of a issue to concerned about. But my left ear starts to hurt if exposed to loud sound or noise on a longer duration. Should I avoid Air travel that lasts one to two hours. Thanks?
For about 4 days now, when i go to bed, I hear a distinct clicking sound in my right ear. I have to turn my head or sleep on my right side to not hear it. At times it even wakes me up. The clock is like I'm sleeping next to a watch.
