Because of the history of a Surgery it could be possible that you have adherences and they manifest as an obstruction disorder with nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and tenderness, usually they are of sudden onset but they may be growing along time, i suggest you to see a dr and maybe perform an x ray or ultrasound to verify.
