My son is 3 years old, i took him to an ophthalmologist as he had a rash on his upper eyelid, i used different ointments and now it has a white patch on it.

Pigment loss: Many of these rashes when healed will first at the surface. This can leave an area of pigment loss in deeper layers that can take months to return & even out skin tone. I would leave the area alone except to use a sunblock if he is out in the sun enough to tan. These areas burn easier than toned skin.
