A member asked:

I keep getting cysts on my eye lids. i had one squeezed out by an ophthalmologist a few years ago but now it keeps flaring up on the other eye.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cysts common: If your ophthalmologist was able to remove secretions from your cyst, you most likely had/have sebacious cysts. These are common, not serious, just annoying. They are filled with a "cottage cheese " like substance. They are a dermatologic condition that is most likely genetic. There is no way to prevent them:(.
