19 month old has been on antibiotic for 5 days for an ear infection but seems to be getting worse. shes now holding both ears and wont sleep at night w/o motrin. also now has slight cough. should we go back or wait until done with antibiotic?

Worth a call: It is not unusual for both ears to eventually be infected & that would not always change treatment. If the kid started with fever that has improved, this may just be part of the process. That said it is reasonable for you to call the office & discuss all you see with the nurse. They may want a re-check or to change the treatment.
