Hey, i was having a panic attack and took 10mg propranolol. about a 30 min later my heart was still racing and so i took a .25mg klonopin. is this ok?

Okay together: The two drugs both work differently and do not affect each other, so they can be taken together. If you find that you have more panic attacks where propranolol doesn’t appear to be having the desired effect, reach out to your doctor; you may need the dose adjusted or to receive a different medication altogether.

During panic attack, I took propranolol. After 1 hr, heart rate is 110 bpm. Then, after relaxing, it became 70-76 bpm whole day. Is it normal?

I was just prescribed 10 mg of propranolol twice a day as needed for anxiety because my heart rate can reach 160 and Bp 170/100 depending on how bad the panic attack is. However, my resting heart rate is 55 - 60, will it lower my heart rate more?
