I was brushing the roof of my mouth this morning, and i felt some pain toward my tonsil area. i looked and theres a small red dot or patch on the back of my throat. it wasnt there last night & my throat slightly hurts. what could it be?

Red patch: Trauma/burn/bruise/scratch/allergic response//neoplasm/infection/and so many more possibilities. If it is completely gone in 14 days, forget about it. If it persists beyond 2 weeks, see your General Dentist or General Physician to begin the differential diagnostic process.
