Not so fast: If you want to go to all the bad labels this could be linked to you are welcome to. Look up Werdnig Hoffman Disease (spinal muscular atrophy type 1) if you want a scare. At 5 mo this can be many things that only time will sort out. There are few if any inexpensive tests that would provide useful information. A visit to a pediatric neurologist that focuses on tone issues could be helpful.
