Wisdom Teeth: Most people do not have enough room for their wisdom teeth. Until you can be seen by a local dentist, NSAIDs will help with your discomfort. The swelling can mean infection, so the sooner you are seen the better.

Painful wisdom tooth: For temporary relief rinse w 1 test salt in 8 oz water 3x/day. Take nSaids (preferably Ibuprofen/Advil/Nuprin) EXACTLY as per package directions. For permanent relief see your General Dentist or a wisdom tooth specialist, an Oral Surgeon for appropriate treatment.
