PG age accuracy: Determining an accurate gestational age is an inexact science, utilizing LMP,size of uterus at first presentation, serial ultrasounds, and other markers as the pregnancy progresses. The greatest concern is delivering a PG at 38 weeks that is actually less mature than stated causing immature lungs for fetus' and respiratory problems. Talk to your OB MD about these concerns.
