This is: likely from polycystic ovarian syndrome/insulin resistance (PCOS). Increased androgen production. Testing can be done with your doctor. The Mirena is not the cause, it is helping as yu have noted. Endometriosis is made worse by PCOS, and the mirena is helping to counter that. Decreased simple carbs can help and medications from your doctor are possible.
