Frequent Urinaton: Many older men have enlarged prostates and cannot fully empty the bladder and get up frequently at night. Please ask your doctor to see a urologist. Peace and good health.

Outlet obstruction: Probably a bening prostatic hyperplasia, every prostate grows, and some of them cause urine obstruction outlet. Your father needs to see an urologist.
