Get severe pain in thigh when sitting down and it slowly goes away while walking and laying down could it be a dvt been there for over a month now ?

Pain: Dvt possible, however this should cause swelling from thigh down. It should also hurt when you walk. Other possibilities would be buldging disc, hip bursitis, pyriformis syndrome.
