Maybe nothing: The level at less than 2X upper normal might be associated with a condition called celiac disease (gluten intolerance) or an autoimmune process like rheumatoid arthritis. It also may be a transient benign finding. There are some worrisome conditions where is is 5-10X normal, but we see more people with really low levels that have problems with recurrent infections.Discuss with your doc.
