Dull discomfort: The normal U/S is reassuring. Intermittent vague symptoms that have been going on for 2 years doesn't suggest serious pathology. Perhaps a mild irritable superficial nerve or abdominal muscle is the cause. You could have an abdominal examination by a gastroenterologist or general surgeon for an opinion.
