Imaging shows enlarged liver. one dr reports "several" cysts another "numerous". i have pain in liver area that both radiates around and thru my right rib are to my back. also tp left. dull and stabbing. no gall bladder. extremely limited soft diet?

You could still have stones in the bile ducts. I assume you have been advised by a gastroenterologist. In view of your recurrent discomfort in the right upper quadrant, I would consult an abdominal surgeon for an opinion and possible further workup such as an MRCP.
