Scoliosis ?: A "16 yo female" with scoliosis who has an established menstrual cycle is probably a good candidate for corrective surgery, and the healing (bone mending) in that age group may be preferable to waiting until later, but there is no "rush" to do so except for emotional benefit from not having the scoliosis, especially in young women.
