A member asked:

My 10 month old daughter is still not sleeping through the night, she is not waking up to eat she just wants her pacifier and to feel comforted. is there something we can do to break this behavior (sleep therapy) if so how do we go about doing it?

Some basics: If she is using a pacifier to get down, it will fall out in the night. The loss can make her wake to retrieve it. I would stop it at bedtime. Please change the ritual to include a story & sitting nearby (no physical contact). You can leave when she settles. If/when she learns to self settle with you near, she will self settle in the middle of the night (they all wake some).
