I had a fever blister on my lip 2 weeks ago and got anti-inflammatory pills over the counter (gen-payne). my ulcers are now flaring up again, very painful. i have a long history with ulcers but it's been almost 2 years. what to do?

Fever blister : Fever blisters recur due to multiple factors stress, underlying medical conditions and unknown. Healing is over 10-14 days. Reccurance needs treatment with acyclovir or Valtrex or famvir. OTC Lysine 1500 mg qd may help or be additive. Please f/u /w MD / urgent care. Lesions are infectious , do not touch, wash hands well, do not touch eyes as ocular herpes is very concerning
