A member asked:

Why am i still bleeding after my period? is it normal? or cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abnormal: Bleeding after your period certainly is not normal; but is not always due to cancer. What are your risk factors for uterine cancer? Any family history? Are you having abdominal pain? Is there a chance of pregnancy and thus, the bleeding could actually be an abortion? Nonetheless, it is best to see your doctor and have them evaluate you. There are other causes of dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
