Took one 800mg ibuprofen for shoulder pain this morning. how long should i wait before having a cocktail? dont plan on taking anymore today.

The basics: Ibuprofen is removed from your body by the kidneys, alcohol by the liver. The ibuprofen can cause some stomach irritation as can alcohol. The ibuprofen is at low levels by 8 hrs after the dose. Long term use of both can add up to stomach problems over time.
