Cycle Length: Normal menstrual cycle length is a range and falls somewhere in the vicinity of 24 to 38 days. Anything below 24 or above 38 would be considered abnormal. As such, a cycle falling in the normal range is healthy no matter what the cycle length is for that particular woman. As women start menses (menarche), reach full reproductive maturity, and then near menopause, cycle length will vary.

More chances per: year with a 28 day cycle, and possible healthier start to pregnancies in some cases. Ovulation day is usually day 14 of a 28 day cycle, day 21 of a 35 day cycle. 13 ovulations per year with a 28 day cycle pattern, 10 ovulations with a 35 day cycle pattern. So better chances with as 28 day cycle.
