No: After menstruation you probably are the least fertile. Menstruation occurs when the egg is not fertilized and it is washed away with blood & little tissue. With no egg being present at a mature level for conception, it is very unlikely for you to get pregnant at this time. There are of course many other variables. No: A woman with regular periods usually ovulates 2 weeks after the start of a period. That means she starts being fertile about 1 week after the end of a 5-day menstrual period (but life is not that predictable, so a woman should not try to guess what days she is fertile if she is trying not to get pregnant).

No: Fertility is usually around the 14th day after the start of the period, assuming you have a 28 day cycle. However, some women may be fertile as early as day 7 of the cycle if they have a 21 day cycle. We count menstrual cycle days as day 1 being the first day you bleed.
