May be: While in some patients azithromycin might not work against M Hominis in others it might, however there are other antibiotics that can be used. The choice of an antibiotic to treat certain infection is multifactorial and varies widely with every case, largely depends on the clinical judgement of the treating physician having all the data. Kindly talk to your doctor, he/she may change the drug
