Not a big fan: Of azythromycin as it is a knee jerk reflex prescription for almost "anything that ails you". Timing isn't as important as whether you need it or not. If you don't have a fever, body aches, really significant cough and mild loss of appetite you most likely just have a "cold". Wait a few days and see how you feel, but if you want to take it make the dosing roughly 24 hours apart.
