My doctor prescribed 250 mg of Azithromycin for 7 days after doing 14 days of doxycycline for ureaplasma. Is that too low? I read many others getting a gram and then 500 for like 3 days to finish it. I still have some symptoms hoping to get rid?
I was tested for ureaplasma and was only giving one podwer dose of azithromycin. I feel like it didn't help much and reading online u need more then on dose.Most people are successful on a longer time frame from 14 -21 days . What should I do.

I was told I had ureaplasma and give 5 days of Azithromycin 250mg. I waited to get retested but Ureaplasma still showed. The gyn wants me to take another course of antibiotics. Is another course needed? I do have slight pelvic discomfort?
