Why ?: If you need information on the paternity of the kid, or risk of chromosome defects it could give you such information. Depending on when you lost the first twin, the test may find cells from both & the results be difficult to interpret. I would discuss the matter with your OBGYN or a clinical geneticist (found at medical schools/children's hospitals).
