A member asked:

My hdl is 36mg/dl and triglycerides 178mg/dl, is this normal. how can i improve it? thanks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Triglycerides & HDL: The HDL is difficult to increase, but exercise can certainly help. Quite a bit of this is determined by our genetics. The triglycerides can be improved by watching the intake of sweets, white starchy foods, cutting out alcohol and increasing the exercise.
