Overheating: I suspect hormonal swings related to recent and early menarche(first period) plays a role. Hyperthyroidism or hyperhidrosis are less likely causes. Your gynecologist could advise you about this matter.

I felt my body overheating before my period. My breath was hot and I felt like I was burning up. But when I check my temperature it was normal. After my period I was back to normal. Can that happen before a period? Its my first time experiencing it?
