My 14 year old daughter has to change her pad every 2 hours (ish) whilst on her period, is that normal?

Menarche: Menses are heavy when people around the time they start ( menarche) and when they are finishing ( menopause). It is not uncommon. Rarely heavy bleeding can be related to a bleeding disorder. She needs help. I would consider starting her on a birth control pill.
